People seem to be getting a kick out of this...

Last night I managed to throw together a rather bity and seething graphic which people seem to be liking. I put it up as my Facebook picture, and a couple people have reused it already.

The true story is that I was pretty stunned that Dion would so overtly tell most Canadians to frak off. This is a reiteration of the whole "two sides of the same coin" motif (which is still "in"), but I thought I'd take a stab at the suggestion of a merger between these two parties.

The real kicker was when I was trying to put a slogan to the graphic. The hybrid logo itself was not workin, and I was thinking of putting something like "Go F$%^ Yourself, Canada" as the motto. It was too overt-- too deliberate and I wanted something more subtle. I decided to hit the Liberal and Conservative party websites up only to find that the Conservatives don't really have a susinct or distinct party slogan. The Liberals on the other hand provided me with the best, most relevant, and punchy slogan I (or the LibCons) would ever need... "stronger together". Hah!
