The writing is on the wall... 10 years ago!

So I was tagged on Facebook in this photo, which I've posted here. Although I'll leave the Where's Waldo up to you, I wanted to point out the banner in the top right. "Reduce Green House Gases", a slogan made popular of late because of the recent move towards environmentalism. However, this is a photo from an elementary school library from 1996!

What's more I definately remember this banner was made at least a handful of years before this photo. My brothers and sisters were also students at this school, and the next moment I have in Toronto I will scavange through my Mom's archives to find more library shots. If I were to take a guess, I would say that the banner could be as old as 15 to 20 years old!

It amazes me that a society can care so little for something that is endoctrinated into our youth at such a young age. Indeed the writing is on the wall, it's on school libraries walls, and it would seem so called "experts" and those with power have been long behind elementary school teachers, and 6th graders.
